The rocker told the audience at his concert last night: “I can‘t say this is true yet, cause I don’t know. Next year they asked me to possibly be the judge on ‘American Idol.‘“
BRET MICHAELS has had quite the roller coaster ride over the last few months. There’s been the bad: brain hemorrhage, ‘warning’ strokes, a hole in his heart. And the good: He lived, won Celebrity Apprentice, and now he might be replacing Simon Cowell as an American Idol judge.
The rocker performed in Biloxi, Mississippi last night, and apparently told the audience the big news before he performed. He said (via TMZ) before peforming his hit “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”: “I can’t say this is true yet, cause I don’t know. Next year they asked me to possibly be the judge on American Idol.” Hmmm.
It would almost make sense, he did take the stage at the AI finale earlier in the week, and he seems to certainly be a fan favorite lately. And, he knows music. We’ll have to wait and see if he takes the seat next to Randy and Ellen and Kara.
