[pinup-pro type=”pinit” pin_url=”CURRENT” pin_image_url=”” pin_counter=”horizontal” pin_desc=””] Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been the subject of engagement and wedding rumors for years, and this time the rumors are true: Brad and Angelina are finally going to say “I do.”

The couple, who have been together for seven years and have six children, confirmed rumors on Friday via Pitt’s manager.

“Yes, it’s confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy,” Pitt’s manager Cynthia Pett-Dante told the Associated Press, according to Us Weekly. “There’s no date set at this time. Brad designed the ring.”

The ring, designed by Robert Procop and Pitt made its debut on Wednesday when Angelina and Brad visited L.A. County’s Museum of Art’s Chinese Galleries with their kids. Pitt, 48, wanted to make sure the ring properly suited Jolie, 36.

“Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so I was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suite Angelina’s hand,” Jeweler Robert Procop told The Hollywood Reporter. “Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality.”

The superstar couple famously said they wouldn’t tie the not until gay marriage was legal and everyone could marry, but recently Brad and Angelina were thinking more about marriage because of their kids.

“We’d actually like to [get married]… It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment,” said Brad Pitt earlier this year.

Now that the engagement has been confirmed, the world will be on Brangelina wedding watch.
