Best saved for the future…
Gabby Douglas’ future millions will be safe from her parents as it will go directly into a trust fund, according to reports.
The 16-year-old Olympic gold gymnast was said to be at the center of a war between her estranged parents who were allegedly fighting over the money she is expected to earn from future endorsements.
However, a source close to the family say Gabby’s money will be safe as a trust fund has been set up to help her with college fees and living thereafter.
“Her parents may be separated, but they still want what’s best for Gabby and are not looking to profit out of her,” a source told Radar Online.
“Any money she earns from future endorsements will go towards paying for her college education, as well as be put aside for when she’s finished her studies.”
Apparently, despite her incredible feat at the 2012 London Olympics, Gabby hasn’t made any money from her gymnastics career.
“And people forget, she hasn’t made anything from gymnastics yet; her career in the spotlight has only just begun, and while she has the potential to earn a lot of money in the future the rumored figures are way off target.”
The main thing is her money will be tucked away safely!
