WOW!!! — Nicki Minaj Gets Death Threats for Endorsing Mitt Romney

The rapper Nicki Minaj has found that it’s not always a good thing to express political views that differ from the people who might buy your records.  In a country that brags about freedom of speech, Nicki has been receiving death threats since it was revealed in one of her lyrics that she might support Mitt Romney instead of Barack Obama. In a recent mix tape, Nicki spit these lyrics that she might come to regret: “I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney / You lazy b***hes is f-ing up the economy.” We don’t know if Nicki was joking or not, but some of her “fans” aren’t taking too lightly to the idea of someone having a political opinion that differs from their own. Most of the artists at Young Money don’t say much about presidents unless they are dead presidents.  Maybe the reason they don’t have much to say politically is because political differences with your audience can cost you a lot of money and Minaj might be learning this as she explains why she was rapping in support of Romney. But for the people who are trying to have Nicki killed for expressing her opinion, maybe you should think about how silly you look.  This isn’t what America’s supposed to be about, is it?  Here are some of the crazy tweets that Nicki has received in recent days.
