Guyana concert promoter Hits & Jams, LLC and Grammy Award-winning artist T-Pain settled a dispute stemming from a 2009 MASH Festival performance.
“I am pleased that the parties were able to amicably resolve the lawsuit arising out of the Guyanese MASH festival,†T-Pain said. “We have determined that neither Hits & Jams Entertainment, LLC nor I were at fault and we look forward to successfully growing our respective businesses.â€
Billboard chart-topping artist T-Pain, who won two songwriting awards at last Friday’s BMI Urban Awards in Los Angeles, continues to prepare for the release of his upcoming mixtape Stoic.
The recently released first single from the Stoic mixtape, titled “Don’t You Quit,†continues to receive praise from fans, media (including Yahoo! Music who dubbed it “another anthem for the ladiesâ€), and celebs such as Tara Reid, who tweeted that T-Pain is “amazing!†after hearing it. Fans can look forward to a music video for the track in the coming weeks.
The Stoic mixtape, which will be released Sept. 30th, features a variety of genres as well as guest appearances by top artists, such as Travi McCoy and Gym Class Heroes.
