Kim Kardashian made good on her promise to attend HQ Battery 10th Marine Birthday Ball in Greenville, N.C. Following the footsteps of Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis last year, the brunette hottie joins Sgt. Martin Gardner, who’s also the event planning committee.
Fresh off her flight from Miami, Kim looked stunning at the bash. The girlfriend of Kanye West was red hot, showing off her famous curves in a low-cut form-fitting gown by Roland Mouret. She was invited by the serviceman months ago and managed to rearrange her hectic schedule to come.
“Just left the Marine Corps Ball. Thanks to all of the marines I had the opportunity to meet tonight ! Thank you for all that you do!” she tweeted. “Back in Miami! Had a great time in North Carolina!” She also posted a picture from the ball along with a caption of “Last night #MarineCorpsBall.”
A few minutes later, Kim issued an apology to anyone offended by her tweet about Palestina and Israel. She previously sent prayers to the people in those two countries which are currently at war with each other, but got backlash from some enough people that prompted her retraction.
“I want to own up to and explain that earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers, I decided to take down the tweets because I realized that some people were offended and hurt by what I said, and for that I apologize.”
Despite apologizing and deleting her message, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star insisted she had no intention to offend anyone. “I should have pointed out my intentions behind these tweets when I posted them,” the reality TV star explained.
“The fact is that regardless of religion and political beliefs, there are countless innocent people involved who didnt choose this, and I pray for all of them and also for a resolution. I also pray for all the other people around the world who are caught in similar crossfires.”
