They range in price from $29.99 to $34.99, for the more high profile characters.

African-American activist Najee Ali, director of the advocacy group Project Islamic Hope, held a news conference Tuesday in Los Angeles where he called the toys ‘a slap in the face of our ancestors.‘”

Reportedly, Al Sharpton and other leaders in the black community have joined Ali in calling for a boycott of the toys. The Django-themed toy line also features six other figures depicting the movie’s other main characters. Despite all of the controversy surrounding Django, including  denunciation by Spike Lee, the film has already grossed over $108 million domestically.
