*It seems Wild ‘N Out producer Nick Cannon is a firm believer in willpower. In his interview on “Late Show With David Letterman,” Cannon said that he willed his marriage to Mariah Carey “into existence.”
Mariah was always his dream girl, and that he says hasn’t changed. What has changed is that he now gets to live his dream everyday.
“She’s mommy. She’s no longer Mariah around the house,” Cannon said of Carey. “She’s just mommy. So it’s a beautiful thing.” Mariah and Nick have young twins at home.
When asked who runs the house, Cannon declared, “Me, Dave! Come on, man! You know I run it. She may pay the bills, but I run the house!”
The couple, who just celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary by renewing their vows at Disneyland, seems to be making quite the life for themselves. They celebrated both their anniversary and the second birthday of their twin boys, Moroccan and Monroe.
Despite his joke about Mariah paying the bills, “Mr. Get-A-Check” is not doing too bad in the finance department himself. He’s currently hosting “America’s Got Talent,” Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC, and is returning with his improv battles series, “Wild ‘N Out,” on MTV2 after taking a five year hiatus.
Tune in to “Late Show with David Letterman” every weeknight at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS.
