Donald Glover is unstoppable these days.

From Atlanta to The Lion King to Childish Gambino, there is literally nothing Donald Glover hasn’t conquered in the world of entertainment. He’s been making such boss moves as of late that we didn’t even realize that he had a role in Marvel’s upcoming Spiderman: Homecoming.

Though we’re super late catching up, nothing about Glover’s role in the film has been revealed since his casting was announced. We even watched the trailer several times, but he’s nowhere to be found. Still, the fact that Marvel is keeping secrets hasn’t deterred fans from speculating about his role in Homecoming.

A leaked photo from the film showed the 33-year old wearing street clothes, so it’s very unlikely that he’s a superhero. (Clearly, his saving all of the magic for Star Wars). However, we do know that Donald Glover’s character works alongside Shocker (Logan Marshall-Green) which means the Atlanta creator is most likely playing another member of The Enforcers.

If not, there is still one other main reason why Glover and Marshall-Green could be sharing screen time. The Community alum could be playing Max Model, the founder of Horizon Labs. Model is a tech genius and Shocker would be leaning on someone like him to get his fancy gadgets in formation.

Still, it looks like we won’t know anything more about Glover’s mysterious role until Spiderman: Homecoming hits theaters in July. The Lion King actor told Big Boy TV, “I’m not even allowed to like leave my trailer without a hood on. So that people don’t take pictures. It’s serious like I’m not allowed to say, but it’s a cool character.”

Why do you think Marvel is being so secretive about Donald Glover’s role?

Spiderman: Homecoming will sling its way into theaters on July 7, 2017.
